A BED OF BLADES by Kate Avery Ellison - Review

February 7, 2019

My rating: 4.5 of 5 Stars

Publication Date: February 2016

Publisher: Kate Avery Ellison

Point of View: 3rd Person

Genre: YA Fantasy Adventure

This book picks up after the events of A Gift of Poison, continuing Briand’s adventures as the Dragonslayer. Now that she’s proven her abilities, everybody has big plans for how to effectively use her . . . but Briand is an independent soul, determined to make her own decisions.

Things are developing between Briand and Kael now . . . and we get a LOT more of dragons, which I am totally here for! And there’s a new villain character who might not be as villainous as he first appears . . . (Do I smell a potential love-triangle ahead? Because I wouldn’t be totally against that. No offense, Kael.)

There are still lots of mysteries surrounding Briand herself. Plenty more twists and turns to be explored as this series continues to unfold.

I'm reviewing this awesome series as part of my Author of the Month feature for February. There will be a giveaway at the end of the month! Giveaways are exclusively for my Reader Group, so sign up if you haven't already.
