All right, I told you I was going to make a second list for favorite series of the year, and here it is!
First, The Moonburner Cycle. This series is the last word in EPIC. It has celestial magic, lost gods and goddesses, inter-world travel, and more. Claire Luana has this year cemented herself as a firm favorite author, and I can't wait to read more of her incredible works!
Next is the incredible Empire of Talents series. This one combined fantastic world-building, unique magic, and thrilling action into one compulsively readable adventure. I fell madly in love, and I'm sure you will too!
The Chronicles of a Catpurse kept me in suspense from page one. The grittiness of Summers' prose is a perfect match for her hard-edged heroine and the tough-as-nails world in which she lives and breathes. I seriously can't recommend this series enough. (Though I don't know when we'll get book 4!!!!)
You already know how much I enjoyed the Elementals series by Jennifer Ellision, my featured author of this month. But I'll just take a moment to mention it again, as it really did come at just the right point in my reading-life to break me out of a slump. (Plus those gorgeous covers just make me happy!)
And last but not least . . . the Confectioner Chronicles was such a delightful series on which to end my reading-year! A very different story from Luana's other epic series, but equally as enjoyable in every way. I may have even liked this series better than the first!
So there you have it. 2018 was an epic reading year for me. I discovered a number of new favorites, which is always exciting, because I know these amazing authors will be inventing many more beautiful worlds for me to dive into an explore. I can't wait for the next adventure!
How about you? What were some of your favorite reading-adventures of the year?
