But that's basically what this team is! My own, exclusive, much appreciated and fantastic PR Team.

 

With the literal HUNDREDS of thousands of book published each and every year, it can be hard for one novelist to stand out in the crowd. The absolute BEST way for any book to get found, known, and loved is via word of mouth.

So that's where my PR Team comes in!

WHAT ARE TEAM MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES?

 

The main “responsibility” of my team is to help spread the word about my books. Some ways this can happen . . .

​

IN-PERSON:

​

• Tell the book lovers in your life about my books! Give them as gifts and share the love.

• Buy the books during the first week of release. This makes all the difference when it comes to hitting bestseller lists!

• Talk to your local library about getting my books on their shelves.

 

ONLINE:

• Share and comment on all my social media posts AND share your own

• Join in cover reveals and giveaways, spreading the word in the bookish community.

• Feature interviews, reviews, excerpts, or pretty pictures on your FB, website, Insta and more.

• Tag a bookish friend who loves fantasy romance in the comments of my social media posts!

• Review the books as soon as possible on Amazon and anywhere else my books are sold.

• Don't forget to TikTok your review!

That being said, there is no "requirement" for you to do any of this. Just do what you can to spread the love and offer support to the best of your ability while being respectful and kind to other members of the Sylvia Mercedes fan base and reader community.

A NOTE ABOUT ARCS:

 

Joining my team does not guarantee you an ARC (advance reader copy) of any of my books. Every release, I set aside a limited number of ARCs, but the demand is always greater than the supply. But if you miss one, you'll always have a chance for the next one!
